Guiding a Digital Debut

It’s not too often that we get to be part of an organization's very first website anymore. Most clients are building on an existing digital presence – sometimes made in-house or using a template – or at minimum, a page or section on their parent organization’s site.

It’s special to be part of a true digital debut because it’s a prime opportunity to set the tone for an organization’s digital assets. A strong first website provides a clear direction that will (hopefully!) shape future iterations and expectations.

Earlier this year we went through this process with QHP Capital, a healthcare private equity firm that was spun out of another NMC client, Novaquest Capital Management. Our work included designing the new site along with a brand extension that culminated in a comprehensive brand guide and several pieces of marketing collateral.

Find your design vision: When you’re starting a new project, it can be helpful to explore visual directions by using a mood board. Wondering what that looks like? Read on to see how we use mood boards in our design process.

It’s that time of year again… Annual report season is rapidly approaching. In addition to a traditional PDF or booklet, consider utilizing an annual report microsite to share information with a broader audience. Microsites expand design potential by offering the ability to include animations, videos, audio, and options for users to take action immediately.
