Planning is an essential step in our process that establishes a shared vision for design and strategy that can serve as a benchmark at any point in a project’s life cycle.
For larger projects in particular, an extended discovery stage can be invaluable for collecting insights through stakeholder interviews, analyzing peer and competitor techniques, and mapping out tactical objectives. When we started working with CPM more than a year ago, comprehensive planning was our initial task and top priority.
Established almost 150 years ago, CPM has a rich history in developing, manufacturing, and maintaining industrial equipment. The company ecosystem consists of 19 global brands that serve a wide range of industries with the overarching goal of delivering equipment that increases efficiency and sustainability for customers.
Working with brand strategy partner Echo Factory, we led CPM through a complete website overhaul. The project included a detailed digital strategy assessment, a deep design process, and finally, the launch of a cohesive and performant site that transforms the company’s online presence. The new site unifies CPM’s offerings and expertise, telling the brand story through premium design details and more than a dozen layouts that inform and activate users.
