Case Study: American Floral Endowment

We recently designed and built a new website for the American Floral Endowment, a large nonprofit that funds research, scholarships, internships, and other initiatives that support the floral industry. The site is large and content-rich, with more than a dozen custom layouts that outline information for multiple target audiences and illustrate impact while driving engagement and donations.

In addition to our work on the main site, we also designed a sub-brand logo and microsite for Sustainabloom, a new sustainability-focused resource hub established by the Endowment. Bright and cohesive, both pieces mark a modern digital upgrade for the organization and have served as platforms for ongoing growth.

Breathing new life online into an established brand like AFE is always a fun project, and the opportunity to build on those learnings and create a wholly new, but connected identity for the new Sustainabloom sub-brand made this project particularly exciting for our team.

Given the sensitive nature of the topic, we developed a soft and approachable design for both the logo and website, ultimately landing on a direction built around gradients and fluid shapes.
