NMC develops Town's Website to Better Fit Local Needs

January 17, 2011

In hard economic times businesses aren’t the only ones needing to increase commerce--governments need help too.  The Town of Apex, North Carolina came to New Media Campaigns with the desire to create a modern website that would be the central hub for all its local government information.

Apex, located just west of Raleigh and home to over 20,000 people, needed a website that would be appealing to prospective citizens and informative for current residents.  NMC partnered with the Liaison Design Group to develop a website fit for such a town.

NMC developed the website with a great deal of features specifically tailored to the town's needs.   The site has an easily updatable town calender that pulls from their Google Calendar and a staff directory can be quickly updated by the administration through a spreadsheet.  Furthermore, the site features a very deep and comprehensive town services section, allowing residents to easily find the information they are seeking.

NMC built a specific site for the Economic Development because of its importance to the town featuring a beautiful homepage slideshow that illustrates the various economic opportunities available to town members.

The new site also features a News Portal for the town.  Here, residents can find meeting updates, information about local events, and other town activities.

New Media Campaigns, which has launched over 500 political, non-profit and business websites, has firmly established itself as at the forefront of interactive agencies.  The Carrboro, NC based company is happy to help institutions develop and expand their online presence.
