Enhancing Storytelling Through Design

As the saying goes, the shoemaker’s children go barefoot. With the bulk of our focus on client projects, our website is the last to receive any kind of TLC. So, that makes it even more exciting to introduce a brand new layout for telling our clients’ stories. Our new case study format combines a deep-dive into our creative process with quick facts, related posts, and most importantly, images that highlight how design is used to elevate each client’s work and goals.

With storytelling at the center of the redesign, we felt that it was only fitting to debut the new layout by placing the spotlight on the expert storytellers at Population Media Center, a global nonprofit that produces television, radio, and podcast programming focused on strategic messaging topics.

Population Media Center’s site was saturated with high quality content and resources, so we quickly saw an opportunity to make the assets easier for site visitors to find and utilize. With a new sitemap and seamless integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot, we were able to mask the site’s complexity and create a smooth and intuitive experience – all framed by an eye-catching visual style.

A Comprehensive Redesign for a Global Media Nonprofit

Enrich your site with video:  From short-form entertainment content to immersive digital experiences, video is a major trend that is decidedly here to stay. Add a dynamic feel to your website by trying an ambient video as a background for mastheads or calls-to-action.

🧭 Build a strong foundation: Before you even begin to consider design, take some time to think through your website’s sitemap and main navigation strategy. Trust us on this one – a strong information architecture plan will lay the foundation for a smooth experience down the line.

Working closely with their team, we helped the firm reimagine their digital presence by designing a new site that showcases services and industries served alongside helpful resources on a wide variety of topics.
