Join Us in Durham Tomorrow for Refresh the Triangle

May 25, 2011

We're really excited that NMC Partners, Joel, Kris, and myself, will be speaking at Refresh the Triangle, tomorrow.  Refresh is a great local event that brings designers and developers together to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of new media endeavors through talks, happy hours, and more.

We have been really big fans of Refresh and members of our team always make an effort to attend the events.  So, when Viget asked us to put together a topic and three associated talks, we were super excited.  The theme we decided on was: Speed.  The official title is "On Speed: When Being Fast Is Taking Responsibility."

We're going to explore speed from three perspectives. From a client-management perspective, I’ll discuss getting to "Yes" on deals, design, and decisions. From the front-end angle we’ll consider speed's role in matching priorities with client needs. And from a developer’s point of view, we’ll explore pace versus prudence; when to hack, and when not to.

It should be a really fun event!  It's being held in Rigsbee Hall in Durham (big thanks to Relevance for hosting the event), and we hope you can make it out.  You can RSVP to the event here.  Hope to see you out there and if there's anything specific you want us to cover, leave it in the comments.
