As the single statewide community foundation serving North Carolina, the North Carolina Community foundation has made more than $160 million in grants since its inception and in order to keep that number growing they realized they needed a new non-profit website design that could reach out to the communities and people they serve.
NMC designed an interactive map through jQuery that allows visitors to search through the counties of North Carolina and find their local NCCF affiliates. Because the map was built in jQuery instead of Flash, NCCF can easily make changes to map's content through our content management system. NMC also custom designed a grants and scholarship tool that gives visitors the ability to search for scholarships based on county.
In addition to developing their website, NCCF hired NMC to assist in their online marketing, specifically with search engine optimization, Social Media implementation, and building out new features on the website to keep it up to date. After one year of the online marketing retainer, NCCF's website traffic was up more than 60% thanks in large part to an almost 70% increase in organic traffic. We look forward to continuing working with NCCF and making the same strides year after year.
