Niki is a Project Manager at New Media Campaigns, serving as a primary point of contact for clients to help make each site launch successful and to continue providing support after a site goes live.
Niki brings with her a wide breadth of experience in the public sector ranging from public relations, social media management, design and strategic communications. She began her career in non-profit arts management and then branched out to design, IT, and public relations roles in local government, thriving on the opportunities to solve problems that affected entire constituencies. Most recently, Niki served as the Director of Creative Services & Public Engagement for Durham Public schools, helping the school system transition 57 websites for individual schools while also working to increase the district's social media following by more than 6x.
Niki is a proud graduate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia with an MFA in painting. She still maintains an active studio and her background melds a unique skill set that marries right brain creativity with a left brain analytical approach to solving client issues.
Outside NMC, Niki juggles volunteering with AIGA, maintaining a fine art studio in downtown Durham, wrangling two wily rescue pups with her husband Curt. There is also a healthy mix of running, attempts at paddle boarding, heavy metal shows, and exploring Durham’s booming food scene.
