Kevin Strouse recently consulted New Media Campaigns to design a site to support his Pennsylvania Congressional campaign. An Iraq and Afghanistan veteran, Strouse is the product of a family that has served the United States and Pennsylvania since the Revolutionary War. NMC created a dynamic congressional website for Strouse that calls attention to the candidate’s ideas. The site design also allows visitors and supporters to connect with and learn more about Strouse.
The site designer combined colorful blocks, and white space to create a unique and professional site for the campaign. NMC created various ways for people to connect with the candidate on the site. When the site opens, a window appears prompting visitors to sign up to receive campaign updates, and there is also a sign-up area in the header of each page.
NMC developers built Strouse’s site on the HiFi Content Management System, which will enable constant engagement and updates during the campaign. News, Facebook, and Twitter updates are combined in one feed on the homepage. NMC developers created a custom filter feature that allows supporters to isolate the different feeds. People can easily share their support of the candidate by email, Facebook or Twitter on the Share Your Support page.
