FastMed Urgent Care is a fast-growing network of urgent care facilities in Arizona and North Carolina with a focus on making healthcare services accessible and affordable to everyone.  The company is expanding at a rate of one to two new locations per month and was listed in the Inc. 5000 in 2013 as one of the 100 fastest growing healthcare companies in the country.  With this quick growth and expanding service area, the company needed a website that could easily scale and effectively introduce FastMed to new markets.  New Media Campaigns worked with FastMed to redesign their site to make it easier for visitors to use, built custom tools to help visitors locate the nearest facility, and built it on a flexible Content Management System to accommodate future growth.

People visiting FastMed's website need important information, and they need it fast.  They're likely either know they need to go to a clinic and want to find the closest or they want more details on what they're experiencing and if they should seek medical attention.  The new site uses bright colors and an inviting appearance to help encourage visitors in what may be a stressful time.  The site also gives the user a wealth of resources and information right on the homepage.  Visitors can do a quick search by zip code for the location nearest them, check-in online with a single click, or quickly access general heath resources and details on FastMed's related services.

To help educate people on illness prevention and promote awareness about FastMed, the company maintains a robust section of Health Resources on the website, including a frequently updated blog, a medical terms library, helpful videos, and timely health alerts broadcast to the homepage.  These resources draw visitors from around the world to the site as they look for healthy tips.  Once engaged with the resources, visitors can easily navigate to other areas of the site to learn about FastMed and then use the interactive FastMed Office Finder to see if there is a location near them.

Understanding that many visitors would be in a hurry to find the nearest location due to an emergency or en route to a FastMed, we built a separate mobile site that optimizes for this specific situation.  When a visitor goes to the mobile site, their phone GPS is used to detect the location(s) nearest them and prominently displays that option with a single-click option to Check In.  The separate mobile site allows us to feature the most important information to mobile visitors and present it in a way that is easy to navigate on the phone.

Since launch, we have continued closely working with FastMed to build out new features, landing pages for topical campaigns, and ensuring the site is built to win on search engines.  The work by all involved has paid off as FastMed's site was recognized at the 2013 eHealthcare Leadership Awards for Best Overall Website.  The site has continued to support the fast growth of FastMed, and the company uses their Content Management System to post frequent updates and new locations.
