Local non-profit embraces new technology and hits a high note through our Content Management System
They're the ones who ring the bell collecting donations every Christmas. While the Salvation Army of Wake County was happy to keep up this tradition that people know so well, they also wanted to spread the word about their other areas of support, and let people know that the Salvation Army is so much more than the bell. Partnering with Springboard Eydo, New Media Campaigns stepped in to develop a website that would better serve the Salvation Army and the community it supports.
The Salvation Army works all year long - providing support and hosting activities for their surrounding community. In order to make visitors aware of the events, New Media developed a custom calendar which appears on every page of the website. Not only do visitors remain up to date on the organization's events, but they can also control what classification of event they see whether it's church events or events at the Community Center.
The rotating images on the homepage and the comprehensive site map allow visitors to gain a vast amount of information without being overwhelmed or confused. And updating the site is easy for the organization through the use of our proprietary Content Management System. The CMS is a web-based system that allows the organization to login and easily manage every aspect of their website. Whether our clients are tech-savvy or complete novices, the CMS makes things easy for everyone.
