UNC shares the excitement of the festival with a fun, yet professional custom-designed website
The North Carolina Literary Festival, hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is four days of exciting exhibits, performances, book signings, lectures, and discussions highlighting the literature of the American South, especially works by North Carolina authors. UNC was excited to host the event and approached New Media campaigns to design and develop a website that would really capture the essence of the festival itself.
Custom designed, the website showcases the flexibility of launching New Media's content management system onto a different infrastructure, in this case, the UNC servers. To illustrate the creativity and energy the Literary Festival brings, New Media incorporated the artwork of Daniel Wallace, author of Big Fish and UNC professor, throughout the website. The overall design gives the website a fun, yet professional feel.
Moving systems onto different infrastructures can be a nightmare, but thanks to the flexibility and quick responses from UNC, we were able to capitalize on the content management system's greatest benefits and give the Literary Festival a fun and informative website that they could easily update at any time.
