2025 in Review
Looking Back at a Big Year of Launches, Learning, and Collaboration
As the year winds down and our latest projects go live, we’re taking time to reflect on 2025’s standout website launches and industry highlights.
This year, we made several exciting updates to the NMC brand to reflect our growth in an ever-evolving digital landscape while staying true to our identity, values, and goals. We refreshed our logo, color palette, and typography with a modern and fun look that shows our personality while staying true to our established brand and previous logo. Our new brand has helped cultivate new relationships and re-energize connections with existing clients.
It was a fun and unique process to make ourselves the client and do work on the NMC brand. We’re really excited with how it has come together as it has been rolled out across different media, including some fun signage and a mural in our office!
Behind the scenes, our team took a deeper dive into intentional collaboration and operations across all our teams including design, strategy, development, and project management. This focus allowed us to deliver really high-quality work throughout the year, including brand redesigns, website launches, development projects, and ongoing strategic support. Not only were the results visible in the final work, but we saw our internal efforts contribute to a more collaborative, strategic, deep, productive, and fun experience for our clients, too!
2025 was undeniably the year of AI, making a notable impact on the marketing and design industries. Our team explored a range of AI-driven tools, seeing them as enhancements rather than replacements. NMC strongly believes that exceptional work requires the human touch, so while we’ve integrated new tools into our process, our collective experience, deep research, and creativity remain the foundation of our work.
Now for the fun part! We launched 40 new websites this year, supporting organizations across several industries. It’s been a dynamic year filled with meaningful collaborations and impactful projects, and we’re excited to highlight some of the work with you!

Nonprofits & Advocacy
Nonprofit was our top category this year, connecting us with non-profit clients ranging from healthcare, to education, to veteran support. Some highlights include new, impactful websites for global organizations like Malaria No More and Cultural Vistas. We even got to (virtually) experience North Carolina’s aquariums while design the new NC Aquarium Society website.
Financial & Legal Services
We launched modern sites for private equity, insurance and law firms. For Prysm Capital, we utilized animation and interaction to bring an engaging experience to an otherwise clean design. 2025 also brought a design refresh for long-time client Ward & Smith.
Education
In the education space, we launched several sites, including a few for UNC – alma mater for several NMC-ers! These included UNC Summer School and Shuford entrepreneurship program. We also helped create dynamic and informational resource hubs for New Visions Public Schools and the Mississippi Charter Schools Association.
AEC & Economic Development
We partnered with a wide range of architecture, engineering, and construction firms, as well as select economic development organizations. Across these projects, showcasing each client’s expertise and services was a top priority. For long-standing client KPF, we incorporated custom animations and interactive elements to convey the scale and impact of their larger-than-life projects. On the new Wake County Economic Development website, we used subtle animations to create an engaging and fun experience.
Retail
We continued our long-standing relationship with Fleet Feet, by making several site-wide improvements and design updates. We also developed sites for Heywell sparkling water brand and Versatile Credit.
Other
We also built a content-hub for Carolina Country magazine, refreshed the site for long-standing client Taylor Oswald, and launched an event microsite for the FHF Global Summit.
Keeping Momentum for 2026
2025 marked a year of growth, refinement, and adaptation for NMC. From evolving our brand and strengthening internal processes to thoughtfully navigating the rise of AI, we focused on building smarter workflows and delivering intentional, high-impact digital experiences. As we look ahead, these lessons position us well for continued innovation and meaningful collaboration in the year to come.
