State's Oldest Association Turns To NMC
Non-profit strives to stir anti-home tax campaign through new Web site
Research Triangle Park, N.C.-New Media Campaigns, a leader in providing pioneering Internet-based marketing solutions and Web development tools to empower non-profit organizations, political campaigns and businesses, is pleased to announce the launch of a Web site for the North Carolina Association of REALTORS' "Stop the N.C. Home Tax" campaign.
The oldest and largest association in the state, the non-profit group has 42,000 members and sees its mission as promoting the affordability of housing, preserving the right to own property and participating in North Carolina's legislative and political processes, all while promoting exceptional ethical standards.
With its new campaign, the group aims to educate the state's homemakers and to alert lawmakers of its disapproval for a real estate transfer tax that could make homeowners pay an additional 1 percent sales tax when they sold a home, an aim it seeks to achieve through television ads, direct mailings and its newly launched Web site.
"Members of the N.C. Association of REALTORS have worked tirelessly to educate citizens for more than seven decades," said Zach Clayton, New Media Campaigns' founder. "We are proud to be part of the group's latest extensive grassroots effort to spread information and inform North Carolinians. Features such as weekly newsletters, links to contact legislators and video clips are some of the components we are most excited about implementing on the Web site."
New Media Campaigns uses leading and groundbreaking technology to help clients like the North Carolina Association of REALTORS transform basic HTML Web sites into unique vehicles of cost-effective marketing solutions designed to better reach a range of audiences.
The company's Web-based software gives clients the tools necessary for all phases of an online marketing campaign, from streamlining information to educate new visitors to designing e-mail operations to keep old members updated on an organization's activities.
