NMC Designs New Site for the American Association for Netherlandic Studies

New Media Campaigns is pleased to unveil a new website for the American Association for Netherlandic Studies (AANS).  AANS approached NMC with the goal of having a new site that was unique, easier to update than their old site, and well-organized.  AANS is an organization that promotes the study of the language, literature, and culture of the Dutch-speaking world.  NMC designed a site that provides the qualities that AANS was looking for, and incorporates a fun design spotlighting Dutch culture.

The new site is anything but dry, featuring bright and playful illustrations of traditional Dutch architecture on the homepage and interior pages.

Probably the best aspect of this site is how easy it is to navigate for both visitors and administrators.  Visitors who wish to establish or renew membership with AANS may use the Paypal-enabled 'Members' page. Colorful quicklink buttons in the sidebar also lead visitors to the latest AANS newsletter and announcements. Should a visitor not find what they are looking for in the main menu, a search bar has been installed into the site. Contributing to the easy and pleasant user experience is the responsive design that keeps the site just as navigable and sharp across mobile phones, laptops, and tablets.

AANS administrators will be able to update this new site with minimal effort thanks to the Hifi Content Management System.  With HiFi, they will be able to insert photos, update news stories, and organize other content without having to make any major changes to the actual layout of the site.

The NMC team is confident that this new AANS site will provide an enjoyable and efficient experience for both the visitors and AANS staff.
