McComas turns to New Media Campaigns to reach residents of New Hanover County
Research Triangle Park, N.C.-New Media Campaigns, a leading provider of both Web development tools and Internet-based marketing solutions to enrich the work of political campaigns, businesses and non-profits, is pleased to announce the launch of a Web site for North Carolina Rep. Danny McComas. McComas has dedicated his time to serving the state's 19th Congressional District, New Hanover County, since election to the General Assembly in 1995.
Born in Puerto Rico, Rep. McComas graduated from St. Bonaventure University in New York with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has served as president of MCO Transport, Inc. since 1985, in addition to his work in the General Assembly, which has included being a part of numerous committees, including the finance committee, for which he has served as co-chairman, and the environment and natural resources committee, for which he has served as vice-chairman. Working with an array of professional organizations and civic committees, such as the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, the Boy Scouts of America's Cape Fear Council Board of Directors and the University of North Carolina's Center for International Understanding, have supplemented his congressional duties.
McComas desires to bring greater discipline to government spending and to ensure that students have the excellent educational opportunities that come from qualified instructors, safe environments and up-to-date technology. To share these and other goals, McComas has himself turned to technology, in the form of a Web site made possible through New Media Campaigns.
"The chance to work with Representative McComas is an exciting venture for New Media Campaigns," said Zach Clayton, the company's founder. "He has big ideas for both New Hanover County and the state of North Carolina, and we want his Web site to be an effective vehicle for introducing, explaining and sharing them."
