Jenné Ayers

Having a large amount of experience in political website design, New Media Campaigns was a natural choice for the design and development of political candidate Jenné Ayers’ site. Jenné is running for City Council At-Large in the city of Philadelphia, where she hopes to use innovation to address the city’s needs and challenges. NMC developed a clean, youthful site that exudes both Jenné and Philadelphia.

Reflecting the City

It was important that the website immediately gave viewers a sense of Philadelphia itself, so NMC worked to incorporate the city directly into the site’s design. The homepage features a bright banner of Philadelphia’s skyline that viewers will recognize the moment they visit the website. NMC also designed the campaign’s logo, which features Jenné’s name and prospective political office. The logo includes a clever feature: the accent in the “e” of Jenné’s name takes the shape of the city of Philadelphia.

Easy Participation

The site also ensures that it is incredibly easy for visitors to participate in Jenné’s campaign, both by signing up to join the campaign and by donating financially. The main menu features the “Volunteer” and “Donate” sections in bold colors, so that visitors can navigate easily to each of them. The “Volunteer” page itself features a simple, straightforward form allowing visitors to supply information about themselves and how they would like to contribute, and the “Donate” page explains clearly how to donate by check or online.

Social Interaction

It’s also easy for visitors to interact with Jenné on social media. At the bottom of the homepage, NMC added an interactive Twitter feed. Viewers on phones or tablets can quickly view Jenné’s recent tweets simply by swiping, and each tweet is accompanied by “Retweet” and “Favorite” buttons that make interacting on Twitter quick and effortless.

The final result is a clean, vibrant website full of the personality of Jenné Ayers and Philadelphia. The site makes it easy for visitors to learn about Jenné, participate in her campaign, and interact with her on social media, regardless of whether they are using a phone, tablet, or computer.
