After seeing work that we've done for other grassroots organizations, Doctors for America approached us to create a website for their initiative. Doctors for America is a coalition of doctors advocating for responsible healthcare reform. We custom designed the site so that there was a strong focus on taking action.
While the website runs our intuitive content management system, HiFi, all of the data is hooked into the CRM ActionKit, a political advocacy tool. We're using the ActionKit API to power all of the petitions and actions on the site. This is useful because any data entered on the site instantly populates ActionKit.
The site encourages visitors to join the initiative and take action through volunteering, contacting Congress, and acting locally. The site also includes a Volunteer Spotlight, highlighting active volunteers for their dedication and work. This is an excellent way to bring a sense of "realness" to the cause and further engage visitors.
The Doctors for America site is highly engaging and action-oriented, helping the initiative create a following throughout the country. We're excited to see the grassroots organization continue to expand and develop their initiative, and see the website easily grow with them.
