New Media Campaigns’ agency partner Pulse Health and Wellness tapped our team to design and build a website and application to power a national recipe contest sponsored by Country Crock. The result was an attractive and compelling experience that recorded more than 100,000 votes while live.
With the Little Change, Big Difference recipe contest, anyone can submit a recipe that can use Country Crock instead of butter. All recipes are submitted on behalf of an organization, and the recipe that receives the most votes wins $2,500 for that charity.
To power and promote the recipe contest, NMC built a custom app that allowed visitors to easily submit recipes, vote for their favorites, search based on ingredients, share their favorites, calculate the advantages of Country Crock over butter, and more. The sophistication of the application was masked by the intuitive layout and appealing design of the website. Visitors were able to easily take advantage of all the tools provided by the site in an effort to win $2,500 for their community group or charity. s.
With over hundreds of recipes and over 100,000 votes, the Little Change, Big Difference recipe contest has proven to be a huge success. We commend the work Country Crock has done to better the community and promote healthy eating, and are glad we got to work with them on this project.
