We are excited and proud to be growing again! We're a six year old, bootstrapped web agency located in downtown Carrboro and are looking to add to our team of 11.
We are seeking a smart, passionate full-time front-end web developer. A creative talent who enjoys learning new techniques, writing clean cross-browser compatible code, and loves the web. Your focus will be all things front-end: HTML, CSS/LESS, and JavaScript.
You should be completely comfortable with and interested in:
- Crafting semantic HTML that lives up to today's best standards
- Turning Photoshop comps into working interfaces
- Rapid development of front-end HTML / CSS (LESS / SCSS experience a plus)
- Building responsive sites
- Optimizing projects for mobile browsers
- Programming in JavaScript
- Setting up content management systems like WordPress, ExpressionEngine, Drupal, etc.
- Debugging cross-browser compatibility issues
Other skills it would be a bonus for you to have, or be interested in learning:
- PhoneGap / Cordova to make HTML5 apps
- Client-side app libraries like Backbone.js
- Front-end template languages, i.e. Django Templates, Twig, Handlebars, Mustache
- Server-side programming languages like Node.js, PHP, Ruby, or Python
