UNC-Chapel Hill Turns to New Media Campaigns For Website

Carrboro, N.C. - New Media Campaigns, an innovative full service North Carolina web design firm, is pleased to announce the launch of a new Web site for students interested in and admitted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

To introduce prospective students to the University's many offerings, its Office of Undergraduate Admissions partnered with New Media Campaigns. "Unlimited UNC," the comprehensive Web site that the firm designed, includes quick facts, blogs by current students, and information about academics, student research, extracurricular activities and post-graduate opportunities. Frequently updated news releases and photos highlight other aspects of life at the University, such as athletics and study abroad options.

Celebrated as the nation's oldest public university, UNC-CH has also become known as a "Public Ivy," due to its commitment to providing students with a top-quality education at an affordable price. For the past seven years, the University has been ranked first in Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine's list of America's best values in public higher education. In 2007, UNC-CH made international headlines when faculty member Dr. Oliver Smithies earned a Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking discoveries in genetics. The University has also received attention for its pioneering study abroad programs, which include a new joint undergraduate degree program with the National University of Singapore.

"Choosing a college can be an intimidating process," said Clay Schossow, New Media Campaigns' project manager. "We are thrilled to have the chance to make this process easier by offering students and parents an easy-to-navigate guide to the University of North Carolina's many offerings. We have enjoyed working with the University to find new ways to reach potential students."

New Media Campaigns uses leading technology to help clients like the University of North Carolina transform basic HTML Web sites into unique platforms designed better reach their audiences.
