B4U Drink

Century Council, a non-profit organization that works to reduce incidents of binge and underage drinking, approached New Media Campaigns about launching B4U Drink Educator. B4U Drink is an interactive public awareness campaign that educates the user about the relationship between alcohol consumption and blood alcohol concentration (BAC).

NMC developed and designed a website that appeals to the targeted demographic on the HiFi Content Management System. The design features elements of the nightlife scene. The primary element of the design is a background that shows the night sky, and a bar sign illuminated with neon lights. There are bright pinks and yellows incorporated throughout the design.

The website features statistics related to drinking and BAC. Anecdotes and facts are presented on nearly every page of the site. The site also includes a chart that lists the standard alcohol content associated with different types of drinks. The Virtual Bar is an interactive feature that allows a user to see how drinking and activity affect BAC. The site also includes a blog that lists various studies and stories related to drinking.

NMC is confident that B4U Drink will be useful in educating the public about the effects of drinking.
