The new site has much quicker load times and a deeper feature set. The homepage highlights student involvement through a slideshow rotation of hi res student photos.

The slideshow is complemented by a calendar of events, conveying the packed schedule of the school, a video gallery that shows a visual summary of the school, and a news feed for up-to date information.

To build the site, NMC worked with the design firm Dale Design, acting as an interactive partner for the design firm, bringing the design to life and equipping it with NMC's Content Management System.

"They wanted the site to be a tool for all of their audiences," said project manager Clay Schossow. "The school is about the students, yes, but it's also about the teachers, faculty and staff."

The site's different areas are clearly laid out in the sidebar navigation. In addition to students, teachers, faculty and staff, there are areas for the school's alumni, athletics and admissions.

With this project, NMC expands its educational web design projects into the elementary, middle and high school realm.

NMC Launches New Web Design for University Website, UNC's Geology Department Clay New Media Campaigns, a Raleigh web design firm, continues a focus on university web design by designing and launching a new site for the Geology Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. You can see the new website at www.geosci.unc.edu.

New Media Campaigns revamped the organization's website, focusing on visual imagery to instantly engage potential and current majors and encourage them to delve further into the department. The site is coded on New Media Campaigns' proprietary content management software, allowing the department to post relevant news, update a monthly calendar, and highlight faculty members' biographies.

After being built on New Media's test servers, the company worked with the University's IT department to transition onto their servers. The homepage features a a news feed from both UNC's Geology Department and also from the popular geology website, geology.com

"We love working with Universities," said project manager Alex Pomer. "Not only are we involved with thought leaders in their field, but we're helping progress education facilities in the area."

NMC launches website for venture backed startup, CloudSwitch Clay New Media Campaigns recently expanded their small business web design base by launching a site for Cloudswitch, a new company in Burlington, Massachusetts that helps enterprises move their applications safely into the cloud.

The site's homepage prominently features two calls to action, a company blog, a simplified company descritption and a news feed. The calls to action, an opportunity to see a demo or join their beta, lead visitors to forms where they can fill out contact information, allowing CloudSwitch to build their potential client base.

NMC's proprietary content management system has allowed CloudSwitch to easily scale up content and offerings as the company has quickly grown and expanded its products.

The company's blog posts are conveniently organized by both category and date, allowing visitors to read about not only the most recent news, but also the areas that interest them the most. Visitors are also invited to share the posts on common networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, and others.

New Media Campaigns Featured for jQuery Plugins and Tutorials Clay New Media Campaigns, Raleigh based web design company, has recently been featured in many online articles for their work with jQuery. Most notably, their development of a jQuery map, a filterable jquery portfolio, and contributions to other techniques, have received numerous mentions online.

New Media Campaigns utilized their content management system to manage the new website while White & Satterfield, a Raleigh advertising and design studio, provided the custom design.

New Media previously worked with Wood Wise to develop the company's search engine optimization and stepped in when the company decided to take more control of their site with a new design and content management system.

The new content management system allows for Wood Wise to have a greater amount of ease and flexibility when editing and adding new content to their site.

Wood Wise can further highlight their work through an engaging new portfolio that also gives potential clients the ability to view various projects in different categories.

New Media continuously develops agency partnerships with various design firms such as White & Satterfield. The Wood Wise website was a total rebranding effort by White & Satterfield, transforming the company's old website into one that is lighter, more inviting, and much better organized.
