UNC connects with students before they even step on campus with custom-designed website

UNC Admissions wanted to show newly admitted students why UNC Chapel Hill is the place to be. Not only did they want to convey how great of a school UNC is in general, but they also wanted to expose them to the wide-range of academics offered, the award-winning faculty and staff, and the amazing student life that is produced from this amazing college town.

In order to show potential Tar Heels why they should choose UNC Chapel Hill over other schools they have been accepted to, New Media created a modern and interactive website that includes rotating images and facts and a menu that highlights enrollment deadlines, quick facts, career opportunities, and testimonials from current students. The website also pulls news from The Daily Tar Heel, the student-ran newspaper on campus, and student blogs to give students a better understanding of the dynamic campus life and what's going on around town. The design and color scheme follows along with UNC Admissions' print materials and their new branding: UNC Unlimited.

The students viewing this site sit on the leading edge of technology and need a website that is engaging and comprehensive in order to be convinced of making the right choice. New Media designed this site with this assertion in mind. Our proprietary content management system allows for UNC Admissions to keep their site as up to date as possible while the design features keep future students interested. In every letter of admission students are directed to take a look at the UNC Admitted site, not only encouraging them to check out more about Carolina but to also see how well-connected and technologically advanced UNC is. Just like their new branding suggests, the information that the website provides is unlimited and the impact the site delivers is astounding.
