Utilizing jQuery to create amazing effects, the new website reflects the company's innovation and flair

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Third Floor Productions is a nationally award-winning, multimedia creative production company that knows how to generate buzz. Third Floor initially approached New Media Campaigns wanting an all-Flash site. However, after showing them the possibilities and benefits of using Javascript and jQuery, they decided to use our alternative approach.

Unlike Flash, jQuery allows for easy updates and search engine friendly content. jQuery also enabled New Media to create great effects for the website such as the cool slide effect in Third Floor's Portfolio. Everything on the site, even the clips, are added through out proprietary content management system.  We also provided a link for clients that would easily allow them to login to their files.

Overall, Third Floor's website was given a modern and eclectic style that is engaging yet functional.  The wood grain platform against the green patterned background causes the content on each page to pop and keep visitors looking for more. The pop-up video player allows for a seamless experience and the well-defined site map guides people through the website. Working with Third Floor Productions was a great experience and really gave us an opportunity to have fun with jQuery and design.
