Designing and developing a dynamic website for Sun Microsystems' new product
New Media Campaigns partnered with PR 20/20 to develop a website for Sun Microsystems' new product SLX. SLX is an online video sharing platform that gives businesses the ability to create a community online, enhancing company communication and collaboration. Aimed heavily toward lead acquisition, the website needed to be comprehensive, dynamic, and memorable.
We designed and launched this site on the Hubspot CMS, developing our first template for Hubspot that we've ever done. Not only did Sun Microsystems like it, but the people at Hubspot also commended us for the look and flexibility we offered. Working with one of our agency partners, PR 20/20, we provided the development and design for the project whereas PR 20/20 handled content and the internet marketing aspect.
The bright green accent color draws from the SLX logo and gives the website a splash of energy that draws visitors into the site. Rotating images on the homepage highlight the many benefits of the video sharing platform and encourage potential buyers to learn more. Various sections promote available resources and offer the option of scheduling a live demo of SLX. The website is sleek and modern without being too technical and futuristic, giving Sun Microsystems' the ability to successfully leverage their new product across the internet.
