Custom website for Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate is more than just "politics as usual"

Chris Doherty's vision for Pennsylvania was for it to become national leader, a state with a purpose and unique identity. He knew that in order to deliver his vision to Pennsylvania citizens he needed a website that was as purposeful and unique as his vision for the state.

When Chris approached New Media Campaigns, he emphasized that he wanted his website to focus on engaging others, not just serve as another vehicle to push his message. In order to accomplish his goals for the website, NMC incorporated a few key tools to keep visitors engaged and voters involved.

A unique aspect of the website is the creation of the Jobs Center. Serving as a hub of information where constituents can find tips and strategies as well as search for jobs, the Jobs Center establishes the website as a valuable resource for Pennsylvania citizens.

Doherty and NMC also agreed that the site needed to be more than just a place for visitors to get information. We created a unique splash page designed to convert visitors into registrants and volunteers.

Even after the splash page visitors are encouraged to connect with the campaign on various social networking site such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.  By offering these various venues to visitors, Doherty expands his online presence beyond his gubernatorial site. We also incorporated an action center where visitors can donate, volunteer, or contact the campaign team all within one simple click.

By integrating  key political website design features that not only capture visitors' attention but also engage them on multiple levels, we were able to deliver a website that successfully delivers Chris Doherty's vision and is anything but "politics as usual".
