NMC Launches Site For New York City Union
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- New Media Campaigns, a full service web design and software company, is pleased to announce the launch of a new website for the New York City based United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1500 (www.ufcw1500.org).
UFCW 1500 represents more than 22,000 members working in the grocery industry across the metropolitan New York area, and is the largest grocery workers union in the state. The new site gives the organization a much more interactive web presence, allowing them to host video and photo galleries, sign up members online, highlight upcoming events, and more.
New York-based advertising firm Romanelli Communications represents the Union and designed the visually appealing Web site, and then turned to New Media Campaigns to implement the site. Romanelli and New Media have now worked together on more than a half dozen web sites.
"We really enjoyed working with UFCW 1500," said Clay Schossow, a New Media Campaigns' project manager. "They were focused on making their new site as interactive and useful to their members as possible, and it was a pleasure helping them meet their goals."
