    Appealing website design invigorates Kansas' Attorney General office

    After developing a successful campaign website for the Steve Six campaign in 2006, the newly-elected Kansas Attorney General contacted New Media a second time to develop their constituent site. The AG's goal was to reinvigorate the office by expanding on a new-age, CSI atmosphere that would set them apart from other constituent sites around the country. After adhering to the state's 30 page branding document on how to use their logo, New Media delivered a design that blew the staff away.

    In order to make the site as constituent friendly as possible, New Media developed a Quick Links section on the homepage that allows visitors to immediately access the office's most in demand services. That, accompanied with the drop down side bar menus, allow for easy navigation throughout the site. The website really modernized the processes of the Attorney General's office. Prior to its advent, the office operated primarily through paperwork, but now, they have several online forms that have automated their processes. 

    New Media also built forms that capture complaints, appearance requests, and contact submissions so the office can serve as many people as possible in an organized manner.  Furthermore, the site offers AG Alerts that provide an easy way to alert citizens of important happenings and developments around the state.

    After two years, the site has really stood the test of time, not only because of its modernized design but also because the Attorney General's staff provides prompt updates through the use of our proprietary content management system. The staff also uses the system's micro-targeting capabilities to send out emails based on interests that visitors listed when they registered for the site's newsletter. Overall, the Kansas Attorney General's website has streamlined communications for the office and has fostered a new and bright identity for the position in the state.
