Patrick Clarke: Developer
Patrick is a proud Durham resident and has been firmly rooted in the Triangle for the last decade. At New Media Campaigns he spends his day building and maintaining websites on HiFi. He came to NMC after working with several different local companies as contract print designer, web designer and developer.
Patrick has worked in webspace in various forms since 1996 and was an award-winning collegiate newspaper designer while attending N.C. State University. In 2006, he was a design intern at both the Detroit Free Press and St. Petersburg Times (now the Tampa Bay Times). Using the experiences and skills gained from college and the internships he honed his skills in front-end development with emphasis on optimizing sites using content management systems.
Outside of NMC, Patrick is a regular at Carolina Hurricanes hockey games and finds time to lace up his skates during the week to help coach a local youth hockey team and again late on Weekday nights in a local rec league. He also lends his time and development skills to a number of fun side-projects. You can him and his side-projects on his website, or follow him on twitter where he uses 140-characters to chat about hockey most of the time.
